Mr. Probal Ghosh

Chairman,Non-Executive Director

Mr. Probal Ghosh has joined the Board of Bhubaneshwar Power Private Limited as Non-Executive Director in the year 2021. Mr. Ghosh, is currently working as Vice President Shared Services in Tata Steel Ltd., is responsible for Asset, Utilities and Infrastructure and project management of the 10-million-ton integrated steel works at Jamshedpur. He is a Mechanical Engineer by qualification and joined Tata Steel in Jamshedpur as a Graduate Trainee in 1990, having graduated from Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), formerly known as BE College, Shibpur. ... Over the past years he has worked in Operation & Maintenance and Capital Projects execution and also got exposure to TQM practices at JUSE (Japanese Union of Scientists & Engineers) Japan in 2014. He has completed Executive General Management course from CEDEP (INSEAD campus) at Fontainebleau France in 2015. He has also attended the Global Advanced Management Program (GAMP) organized by the All-India Management Association (AIMA) in Silicon Valley, USA in 2019. He has served at different capacities in Mechanical Maintenance functions and executed various upgradation projects in Wire Rod Mill, Hot Strip Mill and Cold Rolling Mill. As the Project Manager, he has the experience of implementation of a Joint Venture Capital project of the Continuous Annealing & Processing Line (CAPL) with Nippon Steel Corporation for M/s JCAPCPL. From his previous tenure as Chief of Mechanical Maintenance (CoMM), he has been driving extensively in establishing Advanced Condition Diagnostic Techniques (CDT), Reliability Centred Maintenance practices and driving Smart Asset Management System (SAMS) leveraging Asset digitalization and setting up the Asset monitoring & Diagnostic Centre (AMDC) for implementation of Predictive Analytics based Maintenance (PdM) strategy. He is also associated with Condition Monitoring Society of India (CMSI) and a fellow member of the Institute of Engineers and currently the Chairman of its local centre at Jamshedpur.

Mr. Pratosh Gupta

Non- Executive Director

Mr. Pratosh Gupta, has joined the Board of Bhubaneshwar Power Private Limited as Non- Executive Director in the year 2023. Mr. Pratosh Gupta is currently working as Chief, Mergers and Acquisitions in Tata Steel Limited. Mr. Gupta has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Post that, he joined Tata Steel as Graduate Trainee in the year 1995. ...He pursued the Executive Management Program from XLRI, Jamshedpur during the year 1998-1999. After joining Tata Steel, he has worked in various functions starting his career with Electrical Maintenance in Jamshedpur. Post that, he has worked in Operational Performance programs, Strategic Finance and in the Corporate Strategy functions. He has also spent 3 years in Tata Steel’s subsidiary company in Singapore, overlooking the business development and corporate planning department for Tata Steel’s South-East Asia business. Mr. Gupta is based out of Mumbai and been working in the mergers and acquisitions department and been part of the various corporate M&A transaction aggregating to multi-billion-dollar transactions and across multiple geographies.

Ms. Amita Khurana

Non-Executive Director

Ms. Amita Khurana has joined the Board of Bhubaneshwar Power Private Limited as Non-Executive Director in the year 2021. Ms. Khurana is currently the Group Chief- Raw Material Procurement of Tata Steel Limited. She is responsible for the entire raw material buy for all Tata Steels sites in India, Netherlands and UK.... Prior to this, she was Chief Procurement Officer of Tata Steel BSL Ltd- (formerly known as Bhushan Steel Limited)- a company that Tata Steel Ltd acquired in 2018 under insolvency proceedings. In a career spanning 20 years, she has handled various assignments in the field of commercial & logistics including working on greenfield projects overseas, export of ferro alloys, procurement of bulk commodities etc. She has done her masters in international business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. She is also a qualified CFA and Advance diploma holder in shipping from ICS, London.

Mr. Bibhu Dutta Nanda

Non - Executive Director

Mr. Bibhu Dutta Nanda joins the Board of Bhubaneshwar Power Private Limited as Director in the year 2018. Mr. Nanda is working as Senior General Manager- Ferro Alloys & Operations in Tata steel Mining Ltd & basically focusing on the production of Ferro Chrome in own plants at Athagarh & Gopalpur.Further he is responsible for looking into the technological improvement aspects in various production & maintenance processes including adoption of new technology. Mr. Nanda has completed BSc. Engineering in Metallurgy from NIT, Rourkela in the year 1988. Subsequently, he worked with various Ferro Alloys Company like IMFA & FACOR for 13 yrs & joined Tata Steel in the year 2001. He has rich experience in bulk ferro alloys production -Ferro Silicon, Ferro Manganese, Medium & High Carbon Ferro Chrome, Instrumental in starting power wheeling from TSLP to FAP, Joda in 2012- first time in Ferro Alloys industry. ...Mr. Nanda has a pivotal role in completing Ferro Alloys project right from conceptualization to implementation & commissioning of Ferro Alloys manufacturing complex & have been closely associated in setting up the Ferro Chrome facility at Gopalpur.He has worked at both Ferro alloys Plant, Bamnipal & Joda & contributed in both locations to achieve name production capacity that is 50KTPA. He also has contributed & established 100% use of captive Manganese ore at FAP, Joda for production of high-grade Ferro Manganese. He was instrumental in starting captive power wheeling from TSLP,Joda to Ferro alloys Plant Joda- a first of its kind in Ferro Alloys industry. Mr. Nanda had a stint of 5 years at Tata steel Mining & during the tenure operations were streamlined at Athgarh plant.
